Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated High School Teacher to join our team. We are a small credit recovery charter high school located off the I-17 and Glendale Ave that has been serving the families of our community for 24 years. We offer high school age students the opportunity to participate in a trimester based academic program consisting of (3) sixty day sessions, 180 days of school. We are looking to fill two teaching positions for the 2024-25 school year (August through May) in any of the following content areas: Science, English, or Mathematics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee computer curriculum lesson plans already created that meet state standards.
- Provide mentoring to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
- Participate in our High School Prom, spirit weeks, field trips, and graduation ceremony.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- Highly Qualified Passing score on a High School Subject knowledge exam; or Teacher Certification; or Teacher Certification through Bachelor's Degree. - IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proven experience working with high school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- K-12 Teaching Certificate and experience a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
