**Responsibilities**:

- Lead school staff in operating the preschool and fostering staff development.
- Plan, organize, and manage programs for infants through preschool-aged children.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day administration, including scheduling, staff assignments, and resource utilization.
- Train and supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching or mentoring as needed.
- Coordinate recruitment, hiring, and training of staff.
- Maintain safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Manage finances to maximize profitability.
- Handle marketing and enrollment through events and social media.
- Organize fundraising events.

**Qualifications**:

- AA/BA degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD), with at least 3 units of Administration OR CA Site Supervisor or Director Permit, plus 2 years of experience as a Director serving ages 0-5.
- Minimum of 3 units specific to Infant/Toddler Development.
- Completion of Health & Safety training, including Pediatric First Aid, Pediatric CPR/AED, and Preventive Health and Safety Training.
- CA DPR Training Certificate and AB 1207 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate.
- Background check and Livescan clearance.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Knowledge of child development philosophies and practices.
- Familiarity with safety requirements and practices for young children.
- Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
- Proficiency in standard office equipment and software, including Google Suite and Quickbooks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with center management software and social media marketing preferred.
- Reliable daily commute.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Mobility to supervise children and move throughout the classroom.
- Capability to lift up to 35 lbs. and crouch as needed.
- Clear vision for observing safety and reading written materials.
