Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and staff. If you have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess excellent communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment system
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with billing and financial transactions
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a dental or medical office setting, preferably as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols
- Proficient in using dental practice management software such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, Epic, or similar systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
