**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the accounting and control functions of PHI Air Medical and reports operational results. Responsible for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Establishes, monitors and enforces financial controls. Conducts and oversees audits. Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans. Subject matter expert for Ramco and OneStream. Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

**JOB SUMMARY**
- Responsible for the financial reporting of the Air Medical accounting operations. Formulates and maintains the accounting policies, plans and practices. Ensures that all financial data is accurate and prepared in compliance with internal and external standards and accepted accounting principles. Ensures accurate managing of all Air Medical accounts. Maintains an appropriate internal control environment. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement with peers and directors. Prepares and presents reports and findings to top management, and directors.
- Maintain Air Medical management accounting processes to identify, measure, accumulate, analyze, prepare, interpret, and communicate information used by management to plan, evaluate and control within PHI Air Medical to assure appropriate use of and accounting for its resources and business.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting for quarterly and year-end audit procedures, both internal and external, and roll-up into the corporation's audited financial statements, review Air Medical consolidated revenues in conjunction with preparation of consolidated revenues by Corporate. Responsible for preparing individual program P&L's and break-even analysis.
- Keeps abreast of financial reporting principles, regulatory reporting requirements and other accounting industry developments that have a financial impact on the operating results of the organization ensuring timely and accurate implementation and reporting, identifying issues and developing solutions.
- Develops, implements, monitors and ensures proper internal controls are in place and internal policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and safeguarding of assets. Assures protection of company business assets through internal control and internal auditing.
- Subject matter expert for implementation and optimization of financial systems, i.e., Ramco, OneStream, and Workday.
- payers and medical records
- Responsible for the oversight of Air Medical International divisional accounting policies, practices, procedures, and internal controls.
- Develop and implement financial controls and reports for PHI in support of communicating with non-management groups such as shareholders, creditors, regulatory agencies, and tax authorities.
- Coordinate Air Medical division budgets and forecasts - review and preparation of annual business plan and quarterly updates.
- Preparation of various financial analyses as directed by management. Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as required.
- Understand and provide visible support of Destination Zero.

**Maintains an awareness and knowledge of federal and state regulated changes regarding government and third party**

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**
- CPA certificate required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 7 to 10 years specific experience
- This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
