We are offering a great opportunity to qualified Construction Inspectors with proven construction engineering experience for government and private contracts to perform field construction inspection and observations in the **_Tucson area_**. This will include examining and documenting the workmanship of on-going and finished highway and bridge projects for conformity to plans and standards and recommends approval for installation to supervisors. Ability to travel when needed is a plus.
- Job Requirements- Performs field inspections on construction projects
- Identifies any deviations from specified construction procedures and notifies direct supervisor
- Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities
- Prepares sketches of construction installations; performs calculations of areas and volumes
- Utilizes computer and typing skills to complete required documentation and other duties as assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Required ACI / ATTI Certifications
- NICET, ATSSA, SWPPP preferred
- GED or HS Diploma and related engineering experience.
- ADOT, bridge and structure experience preferred
