Warehouse Associate/forklift Operator/crossdock

South Star Logistics, Inc. is looking for a hard-working, motivated individual to join our warehouse team. The interested party should be willing and able to work Saturdays when needed and be ready to work as part of a team to make sure the job gets completed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must **have Clamp, Propane, Sit Down Forklift Experience**:

- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments to determine what needs to be loaded/unloaded
- Organize warehouse space
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep warehouse and property clean and organized daily
- **Manuel labor I.E. floor loading and unloading, but limited to just this...**

**Requirements**:

- Proven warehouse experience
- Ability to operate Propane Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack and other warehouse equipment
- LTL Knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse organization and staging
- Knowledge of trailer axles & max weight limits
- Ability to lift or move heavy products (20-50 lbs)
- High school diploma
- Cross-Dock experience
- Bi-Lingual English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to use technology i.e. Microsoft Office a plus
- **OT is Mandatory**

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
