CCLI is looking for a full time _**Housing Specialist**_with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.”
- **Responsibilities**:_

Ø Provide administrative support to the Director and for the housing program including legal and public policy functions and immigration/refugee services,

Ø Perform general office duties including processing mail, preparing general correspondence, filing, copying, and faxing.

Ø Provide potential service recipients with eligibility and general information about the program and related community resources.

Ø Liaise with funding sources, government and regulatory agencies, property management and other vendors to exchange information, resolve/report service issues and facilitate achieving program goals.

Ø Record and oversee contracts, service agreements, required licenses, permits and renewals.

Ø Perform occasional site visits related to special events planning and logistics.

Ø Maintain general departmental bookkeeping such as handling petty cash, preparing vouchers and monitoring/tracking office expenditures.

Ø Participate in the “front desk” Secretary/Receptionist rotation as a member of the Shared Services team in the Administrative Office.
- **Qualifications**:_

Ø HS Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Ø Three years of well-developed administrative and client service skills.

Ø Advocacy experience helpful

Ø Project management/event planning skills are a strong plus

Ø Must be able to travel locally to various work sites
- **Schedule: full time - 35 hours per week - 9 am - 5 pm **_
- **Rate of Pay**_: _**$23.50 per hour**_

Pay: $23.50 per hour
