Medical Scribe

We are looking for a motivated person to perform duties of a medical scribe. These duties include the following:

- Be available to your provider
- Go with your provider into every room unless specifically directed not to
- Make sure that all orders are entered (including future orders)
- Make sure that all charges are captured
- Verify pharmacy
- Verify medications are sent correctly
- Enter correct diagnoses (no duplicate ICD numbers)
- Link diagnosis to appropriate CPT
- Help provider remain on schedule
- Communicate with provider information that is needed to complete charts
- Check out patients
- Schedule patients for follow-up appointments
- Work to fill up provider rooms at the beginning of the morning/afternoon;
And be open to learning other tasks. We would like this person to have a positive attitude, be a quick learner, and a team player. Must be dependable and punctual Absolute people person that enjoys working with the public.

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Certified Medical Assistant (required)
