Emergency Medicine Physician

Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Position Profile:
- 12 bed ED with 2 Fast Track beds
- 20,000 annual ED visits
- Patient mix: 50% medicine, 25% pediatric, 25% ortho and surgery
- 24-hour X-ray and 64 slice CT scanner with 24 hour radiology reads, US and MRI in-house during daytime and on-call at night
- 24 hours of physician coverage, 12-hour shifts
- 12 hours Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- 12 hours scribe coverage
- Must be BC/BE ABEM/AOBEM or BC FM, IM with ED experience
- 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
Nacogdoches Medical Center is a 150 bed general acute center with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. There is full representation of specialties including neurosurgery and a responsive medical staff. Nacogdoches is an accredited chest pain center, Level IV Trauma center, stroke care, Level II NICU.
In the spring of 2021, Nacogdoches Medical Center received its 12th A from the Leapfrog Group, an independent organization that rates hospital safety. NMC was the only hospital within 70 miles to achieve a letter A grade for the spring reporting period. Additionally, NMC was the only hospital within 100 miles to receive an A for the twelfth consecutive reporting period.
