**ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - NATURAL STONE & TILE**

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Assistant Project Manager at Wm. Erath & Son, you will contribute in all areas of project development from the initial acceptance of a bid through to project execution in the field. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining drawings & document management
- Transitioning projects through developmental phases
- Processing Request for Information (RFI’s) / Request for proposal (RFP’s) Submittals
- Preparing Change Orders
- Project Scheduling for lead times, labor and other major milestones on a project
- Processing and tracking purchase orders
- Performing material procurement
- Managing project calendar, i.e. scheduling meetings, managing deadlines, overseeing deliverables, etc.
- Knowing and controlling the scope and budgetary items on assigned projects
- Proactively communicating with all project participants, including clients, vendors, field personnel, logistics, office supports, etc.
- Conducting Closeouts

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Knowledge of Estimating and ability to comprehend specifications and construction drawings
- Understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving
- A self-starter that is results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff a plus

Relevant Experience: 1-3 years (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
