**Responsibilities**:
The **Program** **Supervisor - Wound & Vascular Access** will oversee the Skin and Would Assessment Team (SWAT) and IV Vascular Access program at Fox Hospital and Fox Nursing Home. This role will develop policies, procedures and national standards of care based on national benchmarks in SWAT and IV Vascular Access nursing. This role will oversee education, hiring, disciplinary actions and decision making of both programs. This role will monitor and report any hospital acquired infections and put into place action plans events and occurrences of incidents and maintain both programs to maintain regularity compliance with state, local and federal guidelines. This role will prepare operational and capital budget and submit variance reports to executive leadership. This role will also do auditing and develop policies and procedure improvements.

The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access delivers specialized direct patient care to patients with acute or chronic wounds or ostomies, and acts as a consultant and educator to both patients and families and healthcare professionals. Collaboration with nurses, physicians and other healthcare providers to plan patient care. The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access works autonomously as well as collaboratively in the acute care setting and the Fox Nursing Home. Follow-up with patients may include ambulatory nurse visits and assistance with provider visits in the ambulatory

clinic setting.

The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access provides evidence-based, cost effective care to achieve positive patient outcomes. The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access assesses, plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patient needs at the expert level. In addition to direct patient care, responsibilities include education of colleagues regarding effective wound and skin care, ostomy care, and pressure ulcer prevention strategies. The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork, assures that the care provided is consistent with applicable standards, regulations, statutes and state and federal law, and provides leadership to staff, serving as a resource and mentor. This role contributes to the body of professional nursing practice through participation in research, committee work, and professional organizations, internal and external.

The Program Supervisor
- Wound and Vascular Access follows the national Standards of Practice set by the Infusion Nurses Society and follows all of BHN policies and procedures. The Program Supervisor - Wound and Vascular Access will maintain and insert central line and peripherally inserted catheters by ultrasound. This role will act as a consultant to patients, families and healthcare professionals. Collaboration with nurses, physicians and educator to patient, families and other healthcare nurses and physicians to plan patient care. The Program Supervisor
