As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and extremely motivated Automotive Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to manage in-house production of Head Liner, Door Trim, and other interior auto parts at their new Hutto TX location.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our production process. Your responsibilities will involve actively participating in various stages of production, from preparation to completion to meet our company’s quality and efficiency standards. You will align the production process to the customer’s specifications and timeline. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the production of high-quality interior auto parts. This is a great opportunity for an individual to take ownership by establishing production processes and identifying and removing obstacles by delivering resolutions ensuring a high-quality product.

**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop and optimize plant layout and production processes to optimize production and reduce failures
- Prepare automative injection process and assembly line workflow
- Utilizing PFMEA identify and evaluate potential failures and provide corrective action necessary to maintain production
- Quantify and track metrics utilizing MTBF (mean time between failures) and MTTR (mean time to recover, repair, respond) to preserve maintenance and equipment costs
- Implement lean manufacturing processes to improve efficiency
- Create workflow processes from delivery of raw materials to delivery of final product to customer
- Prepare packaging system for delivery of final product
- Implement capacity study for injection and assembly line production
- Create and own the maintenance process for the injection process
- Maintain utilities to support injection and assembly lines (electricity/water supply)
- Develop preventive and breakdown maintenance schedule
- Maintain shop machinery
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 10+ years of proven experience in manufacturing engineering in the automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field required
- Understanding of Line Operation Plan, Modular Operation Plan, etc.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with autonomous systems and robotics
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Experience using Engel, LS Mtron, Toange (1800 - 3200 ton) injection machinery
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Knowledge and use of PPE may be required
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and schematics
- Knowledge and use of Excel

Salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 depending on experience
