**Retail Supervisor**

Status: Full-Time

Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour

Reports To: Retail General Manager, Assistant Manager

**Job Overview**: The Lead Supervisor is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing a team of employees in daily operations. This role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate, and lead by example. The Lead Supervisor will be actively involved in various aspects of employee management, including hiring, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and the termination process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of employees to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Effectively communicate company goals, policies, and expectations to team members.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and upper management, ensuring clear and open lines of communication.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including training and orientation.
- Address performance issues promptly and professionally, following company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HR and management to implement corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and setting performance goals.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance while addressing areas for improvement.
- Work closely with HR and management to ensure compliance with termination procedures when necessary.
- Handle terminations with sensitivity, professionalism, and adherence to legal and company guidelines.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 21 years or older.
- Experience: 1-2 years of retail supervisor or management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and other retail technologies. Basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
- Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle, package, and label products with precision.
