**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Behavior technician will Implement behavioral procedures aimed at skill acquisition and/or reduction of problem behavior
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes and protects client dignity, well-being, and privacy.
- Recording, Charting/Graphing, Maintaining Client Data
- Creating and/or maintaining instructional materials
- Teach skills that allow the client to communicate and/or function more effectively
- Behavior Technicians remain up to date with behavior plans and other relevant materials developed client for clients in order to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor progress
- Communicate openly, frequently, and diligently with BCBA, management, and other behavior technicians/RBTs regarding any and all issues any issues affecting operations and client care; including immediate notification of any changes in care needs
- Behavior technicians complete daily progress notes documenting client performance and progress
- Behavior technician collaborates with the clinical and administrative team to promote and support client treatment goals and Leap's mission to provide second to none care.
- Completes assigned work in a timely manner and strives to make good use of time
- Behavior Technician uphold the standards of the field of behavior analysis, and promote a culture of ethics and clinical rigor

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Have at least 1-year experience working with children (highly preferred, but not required)
- Possess an active certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ( highly preferred, but not required)
- Must sit for RBT exam within 6 months of hiring to maintain employment (training process prepares you for this)
- Are pursuing (with at least 2 years completed) and/or hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Behavioral Science, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Education, etc.)
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle or other form of transportation and occasionally be willing to travel up to 30 minutes to clients homes.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
