**SUMMARY**

The Cyber Information Assurance Analyst holds a vital position at the Army Research Laboratory, responsible for the stringent protection of classified networks and systems. This role is crucial in managing cybersecurity risks and ensuring compliance with all relevant DoD and Army regulations concerning classified data. The effectiveness of this position directly supports ARL’s mission by enabling secure and uninterrupted research activities within classified settings, thus contributing to the development of secure, cutting-edge technologies for national defense.

As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

**ESSENTIAL **REQUIREMENTS**

Must have a Top Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Minimum of five (5) Five years of experience in Cybersecurity.

Minimum of two (2) Two years of experience supporting classified networks.

Requires DOD 8570.01-M IAM II certification

**KEY **DUTIES **AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Investigates any potential policy violations or security incidents, write a report with detailed findings, and remediation recommendations to the appropriate government stakeholder.

Responds to classified spillage incidents and coordinate containment and mitigation.

Manages incident response efforts.

Processes and tracks decommissioning of classified equipment.

Manages documentation and compliance for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across classified networks.

Oversees the submission of Cyber Maintenance Hardening Scorecard data.

Reviews and updates Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) data.

Ensures compliance with all security regulations and guidelines for classified environments.

Provides comprehensive Cybersecurity support tailored to the unique requirements of ARL's classified environment.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation related to Cybersecurity measures within the classified environment.

Ensures compliance with all relevant security regulations and policies governing classified networks.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

**EDUCATION **AND EXPERIENCE**

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

**JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS **/ **ABILITIES**

In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and policies.

Familiarity with classified network environments and associated security requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

Excellent understanding of DoD and Army IT and Cybersecurity policies.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

**REASONING ABILITY**

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
