The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.

**Position Summary**:
Providing administrative support to the accounting department. Performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and/or budgets, bookkeeping, fielding communications from customers and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.

**Position Responsibilities**:
**Key Areas of Responsibility**

1. Act as a liaison for the procurement of copier/printer and other leases to ensure that the lease needs of the organization are met. Includes the proper requisitions and coding to the appropriate cost centers. Maintaining a lease schedule and work with the vendor, department representatives, and budget director to assist with budgeting appropriately.

2. Facilitate the organizations' contracts, agreements and grants through the legal review process and utilize the contract software to shepherd the document from review to completion with appropriate signatures. Liaison with program directors to ensure contracts have been reviewed and are appropriate to move forward.

3. Complete daily and monthly updates to utilization statistical reporting.

4. Complete representative payee bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis.

5. Perform duties in accounting software, which includes but not limited to payment requests, procurement requests, and enter and complete journal entries.

6. Complete requests from regulatory agencies, which includes but not limited to filing of Public Charities form, liaison with the tax department to assist with the filing of tax exemption forms, and obtain requested items to complete contracts, such as certificates of insurances, etc.

7. Complete monthly coding of financial corporate credit card.

8. Complete daily deposit log.

9. Provide backup to colleagues which includes but not limited to the processing of SNAP payments and refunds, completing deposits and input of wires into daily cash receipt file.

10. Performs other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager/Director of Accounting.

**Qualifications**

**Education**
- Associate's Degree

**Experience**
- Minimum:

- Three years' accounting /bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word products, PeopleSoft and Quickbooks.
- Preferred:

- Five years' accounting / bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word products, PeopleSoft and Quickbooks.

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**:

- Strong math and accounting skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Previous experience with accounting software
- Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills.
