**Assembler - Elk Grove Village (on-site M-F, 1st Shift - Days)**

**Summary/Objective**

The Assembler assembles machinery for the food and pharmaceutical production / packaging industries. Anritsu is a leader in detection and inspection products. The Assembler will collaborate with the Assembly Supervisor to assemble precision products for quick delivery to our customers.

This role requires organization skills, very strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.

Our goal is to deliver Quality Inspection Equipment to our customers.

Essential Functions
- Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand and power tools
- Quality Control - Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Hands-on precision assembly and integration of all our inspection equipment
- Quality assurance and final test of products
- Maintain a record of all parts used for assembly
- Work to meet customer order expected delivery date
- Perform other duties and projects at the direction of the Assembly Supervisor

**Education and Experience Required**
- Minimum Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Controls or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical education / experience such as through the military.

**Physical Demands**

This position is active at times and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
