Delson or Sherman Architects PC is seeking an **Office Assistant** to join our team in Dumbo, Brooklyn, reporting to the founder in the role of their personal assistant as well. The ideal hire is a self-starter, service-oriented, takes pride in their work product, is highly organized. The position is full-time, M-F 9-6, in person. A minimum year-long commitment is expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Act as a first point of contact for company: answer phones & direct calls, handle correspondence
- Organize office meetings and appointments
- Support social media management
- Research, schedule, and manage continuing education/lunch & learns for office
- Special projects for Finance Associate
- Support of project management and scheduling programs (Monograph)
- Research and report on design competitions and RFQs
- Research and prepare reports for equipment and systems purchases (e.g. telecom system)
- Run errands to support projects and founder
- Reinforce organization for materials libraries, common areas, and kitchen; encourage clutter-free aesthetic
- Support architectural team obtaining materials samples and organizing project data
- Organize special events, annual holiday party, artist openings

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- BA/BS or higher
- The ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and oral
- Highly organized and adept at time management
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent research skills
- Must be an approachable, active listener who inspires trust and confidence from managers and individual contributors
- Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality; strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Service-oriented attitude, a strong work ethic, and an ability to be a self-starter
- Expertise in relevant software (Microsoft suite, Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
- Interest in Marketing and/or Design is appreciated but not required
- Strong references

JOB TYPE: Salaried full-time position, with generous PTO policy, health insurance with generous employer contribution, option for dental and vision insurance, 401K with company match, and other benefits

SALARY RANGE: $48-60,000 annually, depending on experience
