**LEAD SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION**

It is the responsibility of each Jeremiah's Server to uphold the distinct brand and culture of Jeremiah's Italian Ice. At Jeremiah's we are known for our cool frozen desserts, five-star service, and flavorful experiences. As a team, we are committed to inspiring our guests to Live Life to The Coolest.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Conduct daily pre-shift huddles to review the Launch Pad
- Ensure standards and policies are followed
- Coach and counsel Team Members
- Follow and enforce sanitation standards and procedures; maintain the patio, walkways and parking lot
- Ensure side work is complete
- Count drawers at open/close
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, catering orders, Rewards Program and other areas; ensure Team Members are knowledgeable in all areas as well
- Maximize profitability through upselling, portion control, monitoring accuracy of charges, cash handling procedures and community marketing initiatives
- Building sales through off site vending
- Manage Food orders and inventory
- Maintaining a unit that is both so fresh and so clean.

**Starting pay is $13.00 per hour plus tips. Typically average $15-16+ an hour with tips**

Hours of operations are 10am -(10:30pm or 11:30pm on weekends and Summer)

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1-year general supervisory experience in the full-service, casual or quick-service restaurant or retail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to lead and direct
- Ability to resolve conflicts and exercise good judgement in decision making
- Hospitality driven
- Be self-starter and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and hold self and others accountable
- High Energy with strong sense of urgency

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to move throughout an office space and store (standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting) for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
- Ability to travel via automobile for long periods of time.

**Bilingual a plus**
