**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform dismantling operations on a variety of diesel engines, including removal of components, accessories, and related parts.
- Inspect engine components for damage, wear, or defects, and assess their salvageability.
- Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques to dismantle engines efficiently and safely.
- Identify and sort salvageable parts for reconditioning or resale.
- Maintain accurate records of dismantled engines and salvaged components.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline dismantling processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on industry developments and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Dismantling Engine Mechanic, preferably in the diesel engine industry.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and assembly/disassembly processes.
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools to dismantle engines.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to engine dismantling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
