The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Saint-Gobain team.

**The Engineering Technician will work for the Production Manager, Supervisor and Engineers to create new bills of materials and routers to support manufacturing in the execution of the manufacturing process. They will update existing routers with relevant information maintaining a concise replication of the manufacturing process, working with relevant departments, scheduling, quality, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quote team, customer service etc.**
- Creates and maintains part numbers for materials and finished goods in the ERP system.
- Creates individual master routers representing a part number manufacturing plan.
- Creates Bills of Material (BOM)
- Interfaces with Customer Service, Scheduling, Quality, Quote Team, and Manufacturing to update existing work orders with new information, requirements, or improvements.
- Establishes costs on newly created part numbers in conjunction with the accounting department.
- Works with manufacturing to understand processes, manufacturing methods and run times and uses this information to keep the routing system up to date.
- Works closely with the Quote Team to efficiently maintain the item creation process.
- Maintains workspace before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Tooling Supervisor.

**WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Plastic or Mechanical) or AA degree with 3+ years of experience in lieu of Bachelors is required
- 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and cost structure process
- QAD knowledge
