**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in computer systems for appointment scheduling and record keeping.
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments, insurance documents and managing invoices.
- Collect, update and document patient medical records and history.
- Assist the doctor and veterinary technicians with examinations and various patient procedures.
- Advise and educate clients regarding patient care prescribed by the doctor in person, via mail, and phone.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds, stand or walk for 10 hours per day.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas, including the reception area, lobby, exam rooms, and kennels.
- Assist in the stocking and maintenance of the patient exam rooms and reception area,
- Assist filling medications as prescribed by the doctor.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is required.
- Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and **attention to detail and accuracy.**
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- High level knowledge of the English language; both written and verbal skills.
- Proficiency in typing and basic computer skills.
