The Corporate Controller role will have hands-on responsibility for the daily operations of the accounting

and finance function while partnering with executive management to drive the strategic financial growth

of the company. The corporate controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial

reporting, maintaining internal controls, and driving financial strategies to support our growth objectives.

The Corporate Controller requires strong leadership skills, exceptional financial expertise, and the ability

to collaborate across cross-functional departments and locations from our headquarters in Southern

California.

**Compensation**:

**Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Working with executive management, the Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of the

day-to-day accounting and financial management of the company, including:

- perform tasks associated with month-end and year end-close of income statement,

balance sheet and cash flow statement
- the preparation of the monthly financial package, including the financials of several

locations, as well as highlights and comparisons to budget
- management of GL accounts
- Support annual physical inventory counts, collaborate with Operations with preparation,

execution, and reporting financial results
- coordinate annual audit and submission of federal and state (California and others) tax

returns with external advisors;
- financial planning and annual budget.
- Provide monthly financial and operational reports and analytics to executive management.
- Maintain internal control environment and related to documentation to ensure compliance with

GAAP, corporate policies and procedures for general accounting operations, and setting up new

systems and policies to support growth of company and assist in expansion
- Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and

implementing new processes
- Implement and maintain reliable budgeting and forecasting tools (P&L, cash flow, and balance

sheet).
- Evaluate accounting and internal control systems
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
- Assist with accounting work streams on M&A both during acquisition and integration phases
- Ensure audit preparedness and compliance. Support external and internal audit requirements

related to specific areas of responsibility.

**Qualifications include, but are not limited to**:

- Undergraduate degree in accounting. CPA, MBA, or master’s degree in finance is preferred but

not required.
- Five-plus years of experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks required and NetSuite desired.
- Healthcare and Durable Medical Equipment Sales finance experience and knowledge of Brightree

ERP system desired.
- Operational experience in establishing and implementing process improvement initiatives within

a high-growth environment is preferred.
