**JOB TITLE**: IVF Coordinator

**REPORTS TO**: MEDICAL DIRECTOR, NURSING MANAGER

**GENERAL SUMMARY**:Under supervision provides individualized plan of patient care in accordance with their scope of practice and CA license

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in front office and patient reception
- Assist in clerical filing, copying, etc.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Take vital signs.
- Take patient history and document in the patient record
- Assist during procedures and exams
- Give follow-up appointments to patients.
- Assist in the transportation of the patient to the operating room.
- Assist in the positioning of the patient on the operating room table.
- Assist wherever directed by the circulating nurses and/or the physicians in the operating room as the surgical procedure is being started.
- Prepare specimens for pick-up.
- Transport equipment and supplies to and from areas as needed.
- Clean and store instruments, equipment, etc as needed.
- Assist where indicated in the clean-up of the operating room after the surgical procedure.
- Perform related work as directed.
- Assist in the ongoing Quality Management & Professional Improvement Program.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Medical assistant or Nursing Assistant Certificate of completion or equivalent
- Previous work experience in IVF/fertility preferred.
- Current BLS certification.

**The position is MON-FRI 8:30 to 5 pm, we offer health, vision, and dental insurance to full-time employees.**
