**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze commercial loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with state, federal, regulatory and internal standards.
- Verify that all documentation is complete, correctly worded, and adheres to loan terms.
- Identify and document exceptions to the Lender.
- Ensure loans meet policy and procedure guidelines and can perform in the event of default.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of commercial lending regulations and industry standards.
- Adapt and expand knowledge continually to stay current with regulatory changes and procedural updates.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve quality and production goals as per service level agreements (SLAs).

**Basic Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically six to eight years of relevant experience in commercial lending or a related field.

**Preferred Skills/Experience**:

- Proven knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan/lease processing.
- Proven knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and automated processing systems.
- Proven knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s).
- Experience with large commercial transactions and working with attorneys.
- Knowledge of state and federal commercial lending regulation.
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and procedures relating to state and federal commercial lending regulation.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment.
- Excellent decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to new information and processes, demonstrating a willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and external parties.

**Location Expectations**
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
