The UCLA Bixby Center Manager of Strategic Initiatives will function as a senior level manager, responsible for developing sustainable infrastructure focused on further expanding the Bixby Center activities, reach and impact. This person will provide priority setting and work flow analysis to the Center Director and will identify and promote strategies that strengthen the Center's three pillars of: Training & Education, Collaboration, and Research. The UCLA Bixby Center Manager of Strategic Initiatives will provide a wide range of functions including fundraising and development, monitoring and evaluation, marketing and communications, personnel and human resources, infrastructure, and strategy.**Salary & Compensation**

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. **Qualifications**
- Business development acumen including fiscal expansion and management, and revenue stream diversification for maximum impact and ROI. (required)
- Demonstrated grant writing and fundraising experience with a diverse set of funders. (required)
- Proven excellence in program management and direction of complex, large-scale, multi-year research and/or training programs. (required)
- Excellent critical thinking and strategic management skills; proven ability to synthesize large amounts of complex information, formulate and articulate far-reaching policy and procedural recommendations, and produce quality, professional work. (required)
- Very strong ability to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify multiple options for resolution, including development of creative solutions, which may have no precedent. (required)
- Experience and commitment to Reproductive Health and Equity. (required)
- Successful collaboration with wide range of extramural and strategic partners including community-based organizations (CBOs), academic and research institutions, funding agencies, and governmental agencies (required)
- Experience identifying, developing and implementing appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative approaches and tools systems to monitor and evaluate organizational outcomes, research programs, and strategic initiatives. (required)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing with variety of stakeholders and diverse audiences. (required)
- Demonstrated skill and experience in developing and maintaining working relationships with a multicultural, diverse body of faculty, staff, students and research community representatives. (required)
- Experience in marketing, branding, and strategic communications including tools, media, channels, policy, and technical aspects; with diverse funding agencies and scope. Familiarity with UC and UCLA systems. (required)
