Registered Veterinary Technician needed - We are looking an RVT. Looking for a person who is highly proficient with placing IV and urinary catheters, drawing blood, talking to clients, animal knowledgeable, computer proficient, able to multi-task, responsible, and reliable.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians during medical procedures and surgeries.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including X-rays, bloodwork, collecting urine and fecals and dental cleanings.
- Perform wound care.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate clients on proper pet care, medications, and treatment plans.
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to both patients and their owners.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical packs and surgical and treatment areas.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- Current California RVT license.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal care practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally and empathetically.
- Proficiency in medical record keeping and computer systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Physical ability to handle and lift animals of various sizes.
- Compassion and dedication to the well-being of animals.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

Looking for 2 year experience **MINIMUM.** Ability to run bloodwork machines (Idexx), and run Idexx digital x-rays a plus. Reliability and responsibility a must

Busy veterinary hospital. Previous veterinary work REQUIRED. Bi-lingual a plus. Cornerstone knowledge a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
