Description:
**JOB SUMMARY**

This position will provide project management support in planning, coordination and oversight for the KC-46 program and other assigned projects. It will focus on air vehicle technical liaison support for the project management office to coordinate with the flightline and back-shop maintenance, engineering, flight operations and other test support agencies to implement the flight test schedule. This position provides assessment and technical advice to the Global Reach project management office on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production or flight test schedule problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services efficiently and effectively support the test program.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the project management office, project engineering, flight operations, logistic support, flightline and back shop maintenance and other program stakeholders to efficiently support the test schedule.
- Coordinate and collaborate on project requirements with the prime and support contractors, military, and civil service personnel across flight operations, engineering, special instrumentation, maintenance, and logistics to conduct ground and flight test operations.
- Work collectively with the program team to solve logistic supply chain and maintenance requirements that impact the program activities and test schedule.
- Plan, coordinate, and support scheduling meetings; publish short
- and long-range schedule requirements for aircraft and supporting resources; monitor execution of the daily schedule; resolve schedule shortfalls and keep the program stakeholders informed.
- Support planning, and coordinate daily project office requirements for assigned and loaner aircraft and equipment to best utilize test assets to meet program schedule and goals, plan resource requirements for test team deployments stateside and overseas
- Develop schedule risk mitigations, solve conflicts in planned schedule and ensure test aircraft are available and in good mechanical condition to conduct safe ground and flight test
- Effectively support the organization project office as a technical project management support liaison to coordinate aircraft and team priorities in a non-supervisory role in order to develop, monitor, update, disseminate, brief, and report on project schedule and performance
- Perform tasks that have variables as well as programmatic risks that may require investigation, analysis, creation of what if scenarios and/or consultations with technical experts to determine best course of action.
- Assess and provide accurate aircraft status and any key limitations leadership should be made aware of related to safety, security, or negative impacts to planned schedule, goals, or priorities.
- Proficient in the proper use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; develop and provide technical input to project management plans and risk management plans, project/program phases and contingencies; conduct stand up briefings/presentations and update organization project management databases to keep leadership informed.

**Requirements**:
**REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES**
