**GUEST SERVICE PARKING SUPERVISOR**

**Full job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to give concise directions to guests and team members
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Troubleshoot parking equipment, communicate with vendor, and submit maintenance request tickets and follow-up, as needed.
- Assist guests in finding their destination on campus and answer any other questions our guests, staff, and our team has.
- Assist guests with physical and emotional challenges and ensure that you and our team follows protocols, including but not limited to wheelchair escort services, escorting patients who may be frail, emergency room patients and their immediate needs.
- Serve our patients, along with our team members at the exit and entrance gates, pay on foot kiosks, valet parking, finding a self parking space, etc.
- Complete all necessary pre, during, and post documents, paperwork, and reports, as needed.
- Complete incident reports for accidents and out-of-the-ordinary events.
- Assist with hiring and training our team members and ensure that they are complying with our uniform and grooming standards at all times.
- Coordinate team members to ensure that they are consistently posted up in the proper areas throughout each day to better serve our guests.
- Work as a tag team with our Parking Communication Specialists to ensure they are supported as we serve our guests.
- Effectively communicate safety and security measures throughout our entire team.
- Maintain a positive and productive relationship with the security team.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and standards for all team members.
- Engage with team members and guests positively and effectively.
- Facilitate employee daily briefings.
- Identify opportunities to create memorable experiences for team members and our guests.
- Coordinate team member meal periods and breaks.
- Proactively welcome guests and assist with questions and requests.
- Provide accurate information with excellent customer service to guests.
- Provide critical and positive feedback through to team members and leadership.
- Provide exceptional guest service.
- Respond to and/or escalate guest complaints, concerns, and compliments to leadership.
- Transport guests in need of a wheelchair escort safely, as needed.
- Understand, retain, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Understand, retain, and provide information about the hospital or events to our team members.
- Other duties as determined by leadership.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in a customer service-based industry is essential.
- Experience within a hospital setting is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Must be able to complete all required training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- The ability to function independently in a fast paced environment.
- The ability to read, write and understand English
- The ability to utilize web-based programs and digital equipment
- The ability to work flexible schedule including, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- The ability to work with the public and have interpersonal and communications skills is essential

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to be mobile
- Ability to push, pull up to 250lbs (patients in a wheelchair)

**Work Environment**:

- The duties of this position are performed primarily outdoors.
- The noise level in the work environment will range from low to moderate
- While performing duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Must uphold and maintain a customer friendly environment

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
