- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain and update accounting records using accounting software
- Prepare journal entries and month-end closing procedures
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Manage expenses and bills to be paid
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in governmental or public accounting preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
