Busy Portland restaurant with established reputation for high-quality food and craft cocktails is seeking a full-time Chef de Cuisine. Minimum three-years experience, know how to handle themselves in a tight kitchen, be able to work independently, cleanly and quickly. Broken Arrow is a Modern American restaurant working to highlight simple ingredients in comforting dishes that are approachable. We would love to see your perspective.

**Duties**:

- Collaborate to develop new dishes and enhance existing recipes
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in restaurants or catering services
- Strong menu planning skills with a focus on creativity and variety
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Full-time will typically work 4/5 days per week. Restaurant open Wednesday through Sunday - Kitchen open until 9. Pay based on experience, healthcare, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
