Northpointe Animal Hospital is searching for a full time veterinary assistant to join our team help us grow our small animal practice

Those with prior veterinary, humane society, or other animal-related experience are encouraged to apply, however, we’re also open to training the right person

**Background and experience**:

- Exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
- Eager to learn about the veterinary field (terminology, procedures, medical conditions, etc.)

**Responsibilities**
- Animal handling and restraint
- Surgical prep
- Pharmacy duties
- Lab work
- Client communication and education
- Medication administration
- Handling of medical records
- Assisting where needed (cleaning, kennels, etc.)

**Full-time benefits**:

- **Compensation**: $13-$17/hour (based on experience)
- **Bonus package**: $500 bonus package for veterinary assistants with 3+ years of current, consecutive experience in the veterinary field.

Conveniently located off Tomball Parkway, the Northpointe team has been providing routine and emergency medical and surgical services to small animals in our community for years. Our three doctors are supported by a talented and fully utilized technician team, which allows them to focus on medicine and surgery. Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
