Assembly Technician

Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Technicians must have prior experience reading and interpreting working drawing.- Troubleshoot, test, and analyzes assembly problems on electronic and mechanical components and assemblies.- Assemble products from a combination of any of the following operation plans, drawings, sketches, and written instructions.- Performs in-process inspections to verify work is completed within standards.- Perform testing of sub-assemblies and assemblies utilizing Acceptance Test Procedures and other written instructions- Other duties as assigned to promote optimal customer satisfaction.

General Tasks:
- Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.- Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

**Requirements**:
- High School diploma or equivalent- 2 - 5 years of assembly experience in a Production environment- Knowledge of precision measuring tools is a must- Mechanical Inspection experience is a plus- Cleanroom experience is a plus- Must have great communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to details required- Quality oriented- Good computer skills - Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook

Physical Requirements:

- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
