**Administration**

Manage the Turnpike Enterprise Performance Development and Training Program.

Provide direction and coaching to direct reports as well as prioritize projects, coordinate work assignments, plan workloads, workflows, and deadlines. Establish and evaluate goals and objectives for direct reports. Develop and manage the Turnpike’s performance development budget, contracts/agreements, internal and external partnerships, and other resources to ensure the availability of required and/or requested training. Oversee project managers assigned to training and performance management contracts. Scope, advertise, analyze, and select vendors, contractors, and consultants.

Remain informed of current trends in training and development. Represent performance development interests in internal meetings and other state agencies. When requested assists in the assessment, design, delivery and evaluation of training and performance management programs statewide.

**Development**

Work with all levels of the organization to define, create and implement strategies to address current and future workforce needs. Research and analyze training needs and validate and assess employee requests, identify opportunities for improvement, design, develop and implement appropriate training programs in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Research and analyze organizational needs, training issues, and performance improvement opportunities. Develop and implement a comprehensive training and development program that fulfills training requests through Individual Training Plans, performance needs, and specific mandated training. Provide input as needed to assist in the development of the Statewide Annual Training Plan. Identify, evaluate, and recommend new training programs, tools, media, methods, and technologies for use. Develop and manage the implementation of new and existing training programs.

Oversee the coordination of scheduling, marketing, delivery, and evaluation of the Turnpike’s development programs, interpersonal skill development opportunities, mandatory annual training, provider office training, and other related topics.

Secure training providers and facilitate a variety of individual and group training sessions for both Turnpike specific and Department required training. Oversee the coordination of class schedules, meeting location
