**Media Booth Operator - Information Technology**
**_The Opportunity_**
Sample duties include: Setting up, adjusting, and operating media equipment; recording meetings; and assisting participants with listening devices and presentations.
**_About Us_**
The Information Technology Department develops and maintains efficient and cost effective technology systems that support the Town in delivering high quality services to the community. Our network includes staff, student, and community computer users across nineteen buildings, as well as our telephones, free public computer terminals, and free public Wi-Fi. The Department is committed to providing superior customer service to all users.
**_Work Schedule & Location_**
Meetings vary in length, but typically are around 3 hours. Town Council and Planning & Zoning Meetings meet Monday evenings, and other meetings are generally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Recording requires that you arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the meeting to allow yourself time to turn on the equipment and assist participants as needed. Multiple individuals will be hired to provide flexibility in scheduling coverage.
The primary office for this position is located at the Audrey Beck Municipal Building, 4 South Eagleville Road, Mansfield.
**_Compensation_**
**_Minimum Training and Experience_**
Enrolled in a High School or GED program of study, or a high school degree or GED. Experience or interest in audio/visual equipment or field is desired. Consideration may be given to equivalent experience and training.
