**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee and tea
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to established recipes
- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following standard recipes and procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and counters
- Stock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the coffee shop

**Requirements**:

- Experience in food service, especially experience as a barista, is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and retail math for inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices for proper food handling and preparation

We're looking for someone to work 18 to 24 hours per week. Our morning shifts start at 6:30 AM and end at noon; afternoon shifts start at noon and end at 5:30 PM. Starting pay is 18.07/hr, but tips improve this rate significantly. Must be a high school graduate and eligible to work legally in the United States. Must be available to work Tuesdays and weekends.

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
