- Answer telephone and managing an appointment schedule
- Processing client transactions, handling electronic medical records, and processing referral practice information in our veterinary practice software (we use Cornerstone).
- Working exam rooms
- Client education and communication
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
- Assist clients by providing necessary instructions and information.
- Dispense prescription items per the veterinarian’s instructions.
- Manage the hospital financial transactions, handling cash and credit card transactions, and following proper opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude with clients and co-workers.
- Demonstrate empathy toward clients and compassion toward their pets.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and skill level.
