**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, including recording patient impressions contemporaneous with, or within a reasonable time of, such sessions;
- Scheduling patient sessions and managing his/her own calendar of appointments, including rescheduling and cancellation appointments as appropriate;
- Accurately collecting patient insurance and personal information prior to beginning treatment, and obtaining signed written informed consents and similar disclosures;
- Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and cancellation fees (if applicable) at the time of the session, in a form of payment approved by the Company, or facilitating the Company’s collection of client payments;
- Entering and maintaining accurate records in Company’s electronic billing system, or any other system utilized by Company from time to time;
- Sending and responding to correspondence to/from patients in accordance with Company’s policies;
- Attending staff meetings and other Company-mandated office gatherings;
- Attending CAMFT, continuing education, and other similar programs as required by Company;
- Following all of Company’s policies and procedures, as they may be amended from time to time; and
- Performing all other related Services as directed by the Company.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Maintain (AMFT) Licensing according to the State of California
- Knowledge of appropriate level of care
- Providing excellent patient care and follow up
- Remain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize task and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Strong computer and internet skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Excellent attention to detail and efficiency

Note: This position is for individuals pursuing their Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) license. As an MFT Trainee, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
