Machine Operator Assistant

**Position Title**: Machine Assistant - Box Manufacturing

**Location**: Allstate Paper Box

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and machine functionalities.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring tape with extreme accuracy
- Proven mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with the principles of box manufacturing and packaging machinery is a plus.
- Competency in using tools and diagnostic equipment for mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
