In this entry level position, the shop assistant will help maintain cleanliness and safety, and assist with any tasks and projects as needed. Full-time and part-time hours available. Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Experience in a fabrication/manufacturing shop or metal/wood shop classes

• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift 50lbs


Responsibilities

• Sweep shop floors and maintain shop cleanliness

• Clean and maintain equipment

• Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers

• Use hand grinder and other various hand tools

• Operate machinery such as drill press and band saw

• Assist co-workers with tasks when needed and be a team player

• Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary

• The responsibilities are not limited to this list


Schedule for Full-time

• Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

• Overtime available
