We are a premier, multi-office North Shore pediatric practice. We have an immediate opening for an experienced, part time/full time, friendly Medical Office Receptionist to provide outstanding customer service and care to our patients. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced, vibrant, established organization. This position requires that you work some Saturday mornings, and an occasional Sunday morning.

**RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Schedules and registers patient appointments into EMR
- Answer the telephone and triage calls
- Check in and check out patients
- Greet patients in the office and obtain patient demographics, insurance information
- Accepting and securing payments from patients
- Room patients
- Keep the reception and patient rooms clean
- Assist in clinical workflow of the office
- Process medical records to strict HIPAA guidelines
- Provide support related to referrals
- General administrative duties

**RECEPTIONIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinic setting is required. Pediatric experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of an EMR is required, experience with athena will give you an advantage
- Must be able to work evenings, some Saturday mornings, and occasional Sunday morning
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional, personable and self-motivated
- Good communication skills and customer service ethic
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Be able to multitask and be a team player
- Computer literacy a must
- Willing to work at multiple locations
