About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join the Challenge Team within the Venture Portfolio as a Project Coordinator. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing participant engagement, coordinating events, handling administrative tasks, and managing data-related activities for our prize challenge program.

About the Team:
Job Responsibilities:

- Event Coordination:

- Coordinate all aspects of event management, including venue setup, registration, badge creation, support requests, and schedule/agenda management.
- Provide technical support during virtual events, addressing technical issues and ensuring a smooth participant experience.
- Administrative Tasks:

- Support the Program Manager and team members in tracking progress and deadlines for various projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Data Management:

- Input and manage data in Salesforce and other systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data entries.
- Troubleshoot issues with data transfer and editing entries as needed, maintaining data integrity.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:

- Document meeting minutes and action items related to participant engagement, event coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Required Qualifications:

- Possess at least an earned B.A./B.S. degree.
- 5+ years of experience in early-stage venture development services and support, technology transfer, advanced capabilities deployment or delivery, either in industry, academia, the investment community, or DoD.
- General understanding of the small business community and the rules associated for them to register (SAM, DUNS, etc.) and respond to RFPs.
- A willingness and aptitude to operate successfully as part of a remote, team-based culture. About half of our organization is dispersed throughout the United States, and you'll need to be particularly sympathetic to the remote, asynchronous nature of your teammates' work.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage timelines.
- US Citizenship Required.
- Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with the several ways of contracting for the Department of Defense including but not limited to SBIRs, OTs (prototyping/production), Prize Authority, IDIQs, etc.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools.
- 3+ years of experience working with or in the Department of Defense a plus.
