MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by

an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education

Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of

Education (USDE). Major course work in Education, Behavioral

Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. Each year

of experience as described below may be substituted for thirty

semester hours from an accredited college or university on a

year-for-year basis.

2. Four years full-time, wage-earning training, teaching, staff

development, or correctional custody experience.

3. Experience in developing or conducting training programs

preferred.

4. Crisis intervention or counseling experience preferred.

5. Correctional custody experience preferred.

**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) may be

reduced by 2.5%.**
