**Summary of Responsibilities**: Overall responsibility for managing the Health, Dental, Life, COBRA, Pension and Workers Compensation benefits for the school department. Assists the HR Manager in all administrative functions within the Human Resources office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serve as communication liaison and interface with all employees / retirees within the school department for benefits related issues.Serve as communication and research agent for all retirement issues and questions.Maintain and produce all required ACA data and 1095 data.Prepare all Health, Dental and Life Insurance information and forms for new hires, terminations, resignations, layoffs, etc.Prepare and process yearly Open Enrollment & FSA benefits.Maintain Volunteer BCI lists for all schools.Post yearly and process substitute applicant information through School Spring and Frontline.Respond to a variety of information requests from applicants and staff.File employee accident reports as required through insurance.Assist school staff with requests for completion of Verification of Employment and Loan Forgiveness forms.Processes monthly reporting to: Bureau of Labor Statistics, ERSRI, & DLT.Process working papers for students.Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
