**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take digital x-rays
- Monitor supplies and dental lab cases
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience in a medical setting
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures is a plus
- Experience with dental software and basic computer skills
- X-ray certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
