**Financial Management SME**

Sabre88 is seeking a Financial Management** **Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Serve as an expert analyst on complex financial projects for a tentative contract award. The Financial Management (SME) would conduct financial analyses for programs, and develop narrative materials for program officials, analyze specific budgetary and financial areas of concern, and recommend procedures and methods for change. The SME would assess systems and procedures used to generate financial reports for the quality and utility of the data and data displays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and report in-depth analysis of data in a very short amount of time.
- Conducts regular and special budget analyses to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
- Develop, recommend, and implement budgetary/financial policies based on analyses.

**Qualification and Skills**:

- Requires a bachelor?s degree in related disciplines.
- Mastery of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing.
- Strong skills in planning and executing a defined schedule/budget.
- Experience evaluating budget justifications and financial arrangements.
- Eight (8) or more years of hands-on intermediate to expert-level experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Visio or similar tools for creating workflow diagrams.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment.
- Strong oral, writing, and time management skills.

**Background Check/Security Requirements**:

- Must successfully pass a federal background check
- Must successfully clear 3 reference checks
- Must be a United States citizen
