**Job Coach**

Support individuals in a postsecondary program as they gain independence and work towards achieving their academic, transitional, and/or vocational goals through a combination of coursework both on/off campus, community based internships, and/or employment **so that our students are prepared for life after graduation.**
- Under the direction of the classroom teacher, assist in the educational and social development of students.
- Provide supervision of students at all times to ensure their health and safety.
- Assist students in performing work responsibilities in such a way that fosters independence.
- Continually assess the vocational, communication and independent skills required by the specific job setting.
- Comply with the policies and procedures of the internship sites.
- Perform task analysis and collect data.
- Provide travel training instruction
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Ability to work independently
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Professional, responsible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive and team player mentality
- Current CPR, First Aid, and CPI Certification
- Preferred 7D license
