**POSITON**:Director of Operations**

**STATUS: Full Time - Exempt - Salary**

Blue Jacket, Inc. is a nonprofit created to provide training and opportunities to anyone with a barrier striving to earn gainful employment. The Director of Operations reports to the Chief Operating Officer. This position is responsible for the oversight and evaluation of Blue Jacket programs.

**DUTIES**:

- Oversee the Social Leadership Initiative, including facilitating the training process for all management level Blue Jacket staff in servant leadership and best business management practices.
- Manage the key performance indicators for enterprise and program managers, including but not limited to net profit financial outcomes.
- Assist in program planning, development, and implementation.
- Oversee the operations of the Blue Jacket Programs Department, including the Academy, Staffing, Job Coaching, and Barrier Management, Blue Jacket Cleaning, Blue Jacket Maintenance, and Blue Jacket Fantasy of Lights.
- Supervise all Program, Cleaning, Maintenance, and Fantasy of Lights staff, providing annual performance reviews.
- Monitor program compliance, evaluate program effectiveness, and develop and maintains program training processes.
- Assess the quality of programs as specified by management and reports accordingly.
- Investigate office systems, make suggestions, and implement methods to make employee production more efficient.
- Assist in marketing of programs to participants, community, and referral sources through the development of brochures, websites, and other marketing materials.
- Monitor program policies and procedures.
- Ensure statistics pertaining to client graduation, employment, and job retention are collected.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience of five (5) years in the criminal justice, workforce development, or related fields.
- A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a professional way with co-workers, clients, and the community.
- Ability to work with a spectrum of personalities in an objective manner.
- Possess excellent documentation and record keeping skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all department records and information.
- Represent oneself professionally, both in appearance and demeanor.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Must be self-directed and adaptable to change.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
