**Job Purpose**:
Manages daily operations of the Superintendent's Office to maintain a professional atmosphere and excellent customer service to staff and community, Provides confidential administrative support to the Superintendent
**Compensation**:
Entry rate: Grade 13
- Full-time, Non-union exempt position
- **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and across departmental boundaries
- Knowledge of office equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail; must be able to prioritize, manage interruptions, and stay ahead of deadlines; capacity to effectively juggle many activities simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and maintain calm in emergency situations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with staff, colleagues, and community
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be cooperative, congenial, and customer service-oriented
- Ability to communicate, read and write in English and perform basic math functions
- Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk as needed to meet the demands of the assigned job duties
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with frequent distractions and foster a professional office atmosphere
General knowledge of the operations, functions, and scope of schools, school administration, and school board.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience in an office environment required
- Computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office or other office productivity software and the ability to use specialty software
