**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- You will function as a resource to the Director in the preparation and planning of budget needs for Central Scheduling.
- You will display an understanding of the importance of communicating with the admitting department and verifying patient information.
- You will have effective communication skills in dealing with the physicians when scheduling procedures.
- You will provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities
- You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team
- You will have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of the Surgical Services team.

**What qualifications you will need**:

- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 of year of clinical experience in an Operating Room setting is required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current BLS certification is required.
- CNOR is preferred
